With the mountain village based mid-mountain, getting around is easy. Start the day with a ski run with a local mountain host. You will be introduced to their favourite runs, showing you the hidden gems and the best snow.

One Pass, Endless Fun
Families can revel in a multitude of activities on a single lift ticket. Ski, snowboard, cross-country ski, snowshoe, ice skate, snow tube, and even fat bike—all under one pass. With access to 55km of impeccably groomed Nordic trails for cross-country skiing and 16km of dedicated snowshoe trails amidst towering Christmas trees, the adventure never ends. Additionally, there are over 15km of thrilling fat biking trails and a spacious ice-skating rink for skating or hockey. Don’t forget the exhilarating Tube Town Adventure Park for some high-speed excitement.

Snow Matters
SilverStar Mountain Resort is blessed with an annual snowfall of 7 metres of pristine, dry powder snow. This all-natural snowfall, without any snowmaking, ensures fantastic skiing conditions. Expect frequent overnight snowfalls and clear, sunny days to explore the extensive trail network that ranges from the heart of the village to challenging double black diamond runs.
Mellow frontside, Hairy backside!
Silverstar is known for its big mountain terrain. On the front side experience more mellow, groomed runs. Take it slow and revel in the incredible landscape, or build your ski legs up with increasing speed. Then, the hairy backside. For the adrenaline seekers, get your heart pumping down some steep slopes and chutes. Drop into Putnam Creek for some more advanced runs. It is not uncommon to have runs all to yourself on the backside. Unreal peacefulness mixed with thrilling skiing. If tranquility and enchanted forests are your jam, get to know a different side of SilverStar and discover 105km of Nordic trails.

Lessons and Kids Adventure Camps
All ages: Get one-on-one coaching or learn with a group of friends. No matter your skill level or number of days on snow, SilverStar is a great place to learn or to take your technique to the next level. For the kids, it’s all about learning while having fun. With a great range of quality kids programmes to suit beginner to expert. Classes are kept small and are available for single day, multi-day or weekly.
