There’s so much to do in Steamboat – ask a local for great ideas! Maybe they’ll share a favorite ski run for a deep powder morning.

Steamboat skiers and riders are all about the glades. One insider recommends taking the Sundown Express to Twilight where the pitch is perfect and the trees are impeccably spaced.

Steamboat is a complete mountain range, consisting of Mount Werner, Sunshine Peak, Storm Peak, Thunderhead Peak, Pioneer Ridge, and Christie Peak.

It has 2965 acres of skiable terrain across all levels of difficulty. The tree runs of Pioneer Ridge, Sunshine and Storm Peak are Steamboat’s “particular claim to fame”.

Soaking up that sunshine while we can. Snow returns to the forecast Friday. #SteamboatResort

Off mountain activities here are original: Enjoy dinner while riding in a sleigh, soak in the hot springs, ride on the mountain coaster or take a snowmobile tour.

Blue sky. Soft snow. And great turns. What a beautiful weekend on the mountain. #GoPro #SteamboatResort
