Furano is one of the most famous ski areas in Japan and often referred to as a powder skiing mecca alongside its relaxed atmosphere. The resort is located in the middle of Hokkaido at the foot of Japan’s mountain range. It has an abundance of varied terrain for all levels, offers uncrowded groomed runs and is one of the steepest mountains in Hokkaido.
