Furano

Furano is undeniably one of the most famous ski areas in Japan. Incredible snow and uncrowded slopes make this mountain an ideal ski holiday destination. Located in the middle of Hokkaido, at the foot of Japan’s mountain range, Furano has an abundance of varied terrain for every level of skier and snowboarder. A vertical drop of over 950 metres – grabs the title as of one of the steepest mountains in Hokkaido. A traditional nature of the resort provides a true Japanese cultural experience. The mountain’s location in central Hokkaido provides it with lots of good weather days. Further, the location is accessible to many more mountains for exploration.
