Three Mountains & Ski Runs For Days | Sun Peaks

Three mountains and 4,400 acres to explore in Sun Peaks!

At Sun Peaks, where you choose to ski really depends on the kind of day you are chasing. Cruisy groomers, quiet powder stashes, or something a little more playful through the trees. This is our story from January 2026.

Tod Mountain

Powder days are all about strategy, and Nick thinks he found the winning one for Tod Mountain❄️

His routine was simple: take the Sunburst Express and Crystal chair to the top, soak in those stunning views, and then traverse over to West bowl and stay there for hours.

Since the West Bowl Express opened for the 2024–25 season, it has completely changed the game. There’s less traffic, significantly more space, and that elusive away-from-the-crowds feeling.

On a powder day, it is a ton of fun and easily one of the best spots on the mountain to find fresh tracks.

Morrisey Mountain

It wasn’t until the end of Nick’s trip that he finally spent some proper time on Morrisey Mountain, and it immediately made him want to go back.

You’ve got everything from cruisy blue groomers and playful tree skiing to those steeper runs that keep things interesting. The best part? There were absolutely no lift lines; he was straight onto the chair every single time 🙌

Hot tip: grab a coffee, lunch/snack or specialty churro at Umbrella Café (at the bottom of Orient) and head up the Morrisey Express in the late afternoon to wrap up your day. As the sun starts to set, the entire village, Tod, and the Sundance Mountains are completely illuminated and sun-soaked.

…and the best part is you can mix all three in a single lap without ever feeling rushed or fighting for space.
