Skiing at Revelstoke offers an unforgettable winter experience.
Explore the terrain
This place has got some big snow energy. Revelstoke offers 3,121 acres of skiable terrain featuring alpine bowls, phenomenal glades and excellent groomed runs. The ski resort also boasts the most vertical in North America with a descent of 1,713 metres (5,620 feet). If you are after some serious blues, then you’ve hit the jackpot, Revelstoke is an intermediate paradise! But it is also home to awesome alpine bowls, endless glades and Canada’s longest run – which just happens to be a green run at 15.2km long.
Revelstoke Mountain Resort ‘was known as steep and deep’ – a mecca for powder skiers with big drops and long runs. Over the past 5+ years, the Resort has opened more blue and green runs with 55% of their runs now being beginner and intermediate. Quad burning blue runs from the top of the mountain and groomed blacks are highlights for this intermediate skier! – Rob, travel&co.
Take on the Powder
Revelstoke is your spot if you are looking for massive amounts of snow! It is known for record-breaking snowfall and on average gets 10.5m (that’s over 34 feet of snow)
Due to the shape of the valley and the pressure of the mountains, the temperatures are cool, while the dry air allows for light and fluffy powder, up to 10.5 metres each year.
Get your adrenaline rush on and off the slopes
Boasting not only world-renowned skiing and snowboarding, Revelstoke is famous for its snowmobiling with some of the best alpine and trail-riding snowmobiling areas in the world. Radiating a warm and friendly atmosphere from first chair to last, the village is the place to be. The Resort offers accommodation just a few steps away from the Revelation Gondola, three on-site dining experiences and incredible views of the Columbia River to the Monashee and Selkirk Mountains. Top Tip: On the mountain we recommend the espresso coffee and bakery at La Petite Baguette and a craft beer or wine with friends on the deck in the sun listening to local DJs to finish the day! Plus, when it’s time to break for lunch, Mackenzie Outpost is a must, for a beverage and burger and the most spectacular views of the surrounding Monashee mountains.
