Previously known as Squaw Valley, Palisades Tahoe changed their name in 2021. This was to honour the resort’s history and unify the local community and mountains under one name.

Overview

Take in amazing views of Lake Tahoe whilst exploring the varied terrain with gentle slopes, bowls, chutes and challenges to suit any level of skier or boarder. 65% of the terrain is suitable for beginner and intermediate levels and Palisades Tahoe boasts has one of the longest ski seasons in the region. The resort boasts a total ski area of over 6,000 skiable acres spread across two mountains with more than 270 trails.

Getting to Palisades Tahoe

Fly into Reno-Tahoe International Airport which is just an hour’s drive away from Palisades Tahoe.
Alternatively you can fly into Sacramento (2 hour drive) or San Francisco (3 hour drive)
