Best Times to Fish
The peak season for offshore and bluewater fishing in Guatemala is February and March. The main sailfish season is November until about May, as this time of year provides consistently calm seas and moderate currents that brings huge schools of baitfish. The November/December and March/April months usually has the best and most consistent marlin bite (predominantly Blue marlin).
