Val d’lsère is located in the heart of the French Alps in the beautiful Savoy region of France. Fast becoming one of the most renowned ski resorts in the world and a desired ski holiday destination, the ski area boasts a huge skiable terrain with some of the highest slopes reaching an altitude of nearly 3,400m beneath the summit of Pointe du Montet. As part of the Espace Killy ski area along with neighbouring Tignes Resort the area was named after Olympic hero Jean-Claude Killy, who grew up in Val d’lsère.

Overview

Val d’lsère offers world class skiing, featuring over 150 km of skiable terrain, perfectly groomed runs and cruiser, Olympic ski runs and downhill courses. Practice your freestyle skills at several terrain parks or test your skills famous runs including the Bellevarde ski run which was designed for the 1992 Olympics or the famous La Face downhill.

Take advantage of 10,000 hectares of off piste terrain and expect fantastic snow conditions and quality where 60% of the pistes are located above 2,200m.
