Overview
Sitting below the Vorab Glacier at 3,000 metres, the resort’s slopes contain a mixture of high alpine trails and tree skiing, situated across an impressive 1,918m skiable vertical!
With terrain for all abilities, the numerous beginner slopes start at an impressive height of 2,570 metres which allows beginners to conquer the mountain at their own pace but not miss out on the remarkable views. The more advanced can put their stamina to the test with a single run from Falera to Flims – a total distance of 13 kilometres and a descent of 1,700 metres in altitude. For the more experienced, skiers can take the 500m vertical T-bar up to the top of the resort and ski the Vorab Glacier for some unspoiled powder filled turns amongst some outstanding views of the vast mountain peaks.
Another significant feature of Laax is the four snow parks, with the longest continuous halfpipe in the world, an Olympic size kicker pro-line and a total of over 90 obstacles you can see why Laax is a renowned freestyle resort.
The three villages are located just a few kilometres from each other and boast a distinctly traditional yet modern style. After a day on the slopes explore one of the 30 plus bars, restaurants and clubs for a hearty meal, cold drink or tasty coffee.

Natural ice field – Ice skating
The natural ice field at the Prau la Selva sports center is the largest natural ice field in Graubünden. Ice skating, ice hockey, pirouetting and much more – you’ll find in Flims Prau la Selva.
Sledging
Laax offers three sledging runs where you can zip down the mountain not just by day, but also by night. The 3km sledging run from Foppa to Flims is easily accessible by chairlift. The descent begins below the Berghaus Foppa restaurant, then takes you through the forest, before returning to the starting point at the base station in Flims along a specially designed piste. Fun for the whole family.
Winter Snowshoeing & Hiking
Discover Laax on foot with a hiking tour on regularly maintained trails. This destination offers over 100km of trails and something for everyone.
Paragliding
A bird’s-eye view of LAAX. Paragliding allows you to see the mountain landscape around Graubünden from above. Together with an experienced paraglider, you start off from Crap Sogn Gion (2,252 metres above sea level) or Naraus (1,842 metres above sea level). You will land either in Larnags (1,160 metres above sea level) or Flims (1,100 metres above M.), to the north of the base station.
Curling
Enjoy erfectly groomed rinks at one of Europe’s most beautiful curling facilities.
Laax Swimming Pool
Featuares a 25-metre lanes, a whirlpool, solarium, massage practice, sauna and steam bath. There’s also lots to keep your kids entertained thanks to the 40-metre water slide, plus a learning pool for splash and play.
