Sun Peaks Mountain Bike Park offers exciting options for riders of all ages, ability levels, and terrain preferences, not to mention a full spectrum of camps, clinics, and guided tours to help you make the most of your time on the mountain!

In addition to lift-accessed cross country and downhill biking, Sun Peaks summer offers hiking, mountain cross carts, bungee trampoline, canoe and kayak rentals, horse drawn carriage and trolley rides, medieval tournament theatre, Nordic pole walking, off road Segway tours, stand-up padding boarding, trail rides, and voyageur canoe tours.

Sun Peaks Top Rides

Altitude XC
Following a high alpine track from the top of the bike park you will be challenged by rock and root sections while heading through lush forests, wildflower meadows and along ridge lines before arriving at Tod Lake providing stunning views and a well deserved rest area.  The trail then loops  around to the top of the Sunburst Trail . This trail is best ridden in a clockwise direction.

DH
Starting with a fast paced descent including reasonable rocks drops this singletrack is not for the faint hearted. The final section of the tracks continues to be at a fast paced with flowing berms included.

Gummy Bear
Featuring roots, rocks, uphills and steep descents, this short but winding singletrack is the perfect trail for you to improve your skills and get a feel for the technical trails.

Getting to Sun Peaks

Sun Peaks Resort is located just North of Kamloops in the interior of British Columbia, Canada.
Fly into Kamloops Airport and we can arrange a taxi to the resort – approximately 45 minutes.
Or fly into Vancouver Airport and we can arrange a rental car for your scenic drive to the resort – approximately 4.5 hours.
